Large projects grow in stages. The THOR215 extends to as many as 24 units – the installation follows demand instead of anticipating it. Peak shaving and demand control are handled by the EMS of the main cabinet configuration.

The brain of your energy system: the EMS explained.

The EMS is the intelligent control centre of your energy system. It monitors and regulates every flow of energy between the PV system, the battery storage, the grid and the loads – fully automatically and in real time.

Whether it is self-consumption optimisation, feeding in when electricity prices are high, charging on favourable tariffs or backup power supply: the EMS makes sure energy is available exactly when it is needed – efficiently, economically and reliably. With functions such as load management (peak shaving), dynamic tariff control and continuous system monitoring, the EMS gives you full control and maximum independence.

PCS – the power behind your storage solution.

The battery storage system intelligently converts stored energy into usable electricity. The energy held in the battery is direct current (DC) and is converted by the Power Conversion System (PCS) into alternating current (AC). It can then be passed straight to the loads or fed into the public grid.

Available as an option

MPPT up to 120 kW MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) keeps solar modules operating at their optimum working point at all times. Because irradiation, temperature and shading change constantly, the MPPT controller adjusts voltage and current continuously and so maximises the energy yield.
STS – Static Transfer Switch Monitors the power supply continuously and switches automatically to the battery storage within milliseconds during grid outages or unstable grid conditions. The static, wear-free transfer ensures an uninterrupted supply.
